Talas Advisory LLC ("Talas," "we," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it when you visit www.talasadvisory.com (the "Site") or engage our services. It also describes your rights under applicable state privacy laws.

Analytics

We use Vercel Analytics to understand how visitors interact with the Site (e.g., pages visited, referring sources, general usage patterns). Vercel Analytics is a privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics service. It does not place cookies on your device, does not track you across websites, and does not collect personal identifiers. Visitor data is anonymized and session information is automatically discarded after 24 hours.

We also use Google Search Console to understand how the Site appears in search results. Google Search Console operates entirely on Google's side and does not place any cookies or tracking technologies on your device when you visit the Site.

Cookies

The Site may use strictly necessary cookies that are required for basic site functionality (such as maintaining a session or remembering preferences). These are limited and essential to the operation of the Site.

We do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party tracking cookies.

Global Privacy Control

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we will treat it as a valid opt-out request as required by applicable law.

  • Information is stored in secure cloud environments
  • Confidentiality is governed by applicable agreements

6. Confidential business information

Client business information is treated as confidential and handled in accordance with applicable contractual agreements, including NDAs or MSAs.

This Privacy Policy does not replace contractual confidentiality obligations.

7. Data retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably necessary to:

  • Fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Resolve disputes and enforce agreements
  • Maintain appropriate business records

When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

8. Your privacy rights

Rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA)

Rights under other state privacy laws

Residents of other states with comprehensive privacy laws — including but not limited to Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Nebraska, Iowa, Tennessee, Minnesota, Maryland, Indiana, Kentucky, and Rhode Island — may have similar rights, including the right to access, correct, delete, and opt out of certain processing of personal information.

Nevada residents

Talas does not sell personal information as defined under Nevada Revised Statutes Chapter 603A. Nevada residents may submit a verified opt-out request to privacy@talasadvisory.com pursuant to NRS 603A.345.

Do not sell or share my personal information

Talas does not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. If our practices change, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide appropriate opt-out mechanisms, including honoring Global Privacy Control signals.

If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 16, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. The Site may contain links to third-party websites or integrate with third-party services (such as scheduling platforms). Talas is not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with through our Site.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, applicable law, or for other operational or legal reasons. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
